In the Midst of a Shift
Finding the Sweet Spot of Your Consciousness Shift

Some of you may recall what it’s like to drive a car with a manual transmission. Back in the day, it was a rite of passage to learn to drive a stick shift—now, only 2.5 percent of cars sold in the United States have manual transmissions. It could be a harrowing experience, especially when you had to stop at a stop sign or red light on the upside of a hill. I remember those hills in Seattle, Washington—I can only imagine what it must be like in San Francisco!
Getting started from a stop on a hill is like a dance—stop the car, feet down on the clutch and brake—and when it’s time to go—find the sweet spot by letting the clutch and brake out and giving just enough gas to move forward. If you don’t get it just right, the car can stall or roll back into the car behind you. And be sure to watch the car in front of you if it starts to roll back.
Going through a transformational shift is a little like driving a stick shift. How do you find that sweet spot where you and your vehicle are one and together so you can smoothly move forward?
Your vehicle is your body, intellect, and intuition (inner knowing). To find that sweet spot of natural, organic living, you have to be in Oneness with all three of these parts of yourself.—let’s explore them.
Body Wisdom

Do you have a personal relationship with your body? Can you feel when you and your body are in sync? Or do you just expect that your body is going to run smoothly, and when it doesn’t, you get frustrated?
Are you tuned in to your body? Are you able to sense when something is not right? When you do, you have a choice to make—choose to push through the discomfort or—take time to tune into your body to find the reason for what you are feeling?
Your Body Wisdom will tell you everything you need to know about why you feel out of sync. It can tell you what is blocking your natural flow. It can help you identify the obstacles that keep you from knowing yourself deeply. It can show you what thoughts are yours and what thoughts you took on from your family and others. It can show you how you are still attached to emotions generated by experiences in this life or past lives. It can reveal what is hidden in the subconscious or well hidden by design.
How do you tap into that Body Wisdom?
First, you have to notice how your body is feeling.
Humanity has allowed itself to believe pain and discomfort are bad. Therefore, we take medication to hide the pain and deny the discomfort. That says to the body that you don’t care about it. Neglect over many years or a short time can result in acute or chronic illness.
Learning to read the messages from the body takes a willingness to pay attention to the body. Too often, we bypass or ignore the first signs that something’s not right in the body—only to be forced to deal with it when the body breaks down.
Becoming one with the body means that you are always aware of what is happening in your body. You don’t bypass the signals. You set aside the time to focus on the body and listen to its messages
Intellect
Intellect comes from a deeper place than our automatic thoughts. It taps into an inner knowing that is part of our total wisdom—it is soul knowing.
Each of us is our soul incarnate (soul in human form). Intellect comes from a broad soul knowing and a clear connection to everything that is part of this specific lifetime.
Intuition
Each of us has the ability to know things because they are in the energy around us; we can pick up those wavelengths. However, we tend to dismiss them. It is easier to believe that everything is concrete and provable. We miss out on what we could know if we were present with our intuitive ability.
Those who desire to be in charge here on earth will use every way they can to distract us from our Body Wisdom, Intellect, and Intuition.
Notice how much energy humanity puts into being afraid, accumulating things, being successful, or pursuing happiness. Which, of course, is defined by those who want to be in power.
The shift that we’re going through is a breakaway time. It is time to find wisdom in the body, intellect that is natural to us, and intuition that may have atrophied from lack of use. It is a time to become one with all of these parts of ourselves. From our eagle’s perch, we can see what is real and right for us individually and collectively. We will no longer be enslaved by those who act from power and greed. We have come to that place of enough is enough! We are done being controlled. We are done being distracted. We are ready to take our place in this world as fully aware, awake, and active participants in our individual lives and our collective future.
Living in this way means that we do whatever it takes to find that sweet spot, that oneness with our vehicle and with the totality of who we are as soul in form. Finding the sweet spot is an individual and collective process. We learn from each other, our experiences, and tuning into all of the amazing wisdom we have inside.
There are “tools” that can assist us in this process. You have to find the ones that work for you.
Over the last 25+ years, Arlene Arnold has been developing tools that help people find that sweet spot inside of them. At the heart of much of her work is a specific way of using color to access individual wisdom and bring about a balance to a person’s body, energy field, and experience of human life.
