Life Can Be Serious & Lighthearted
We find ourselves in a time when lower frequency energy is being kicked up into our faces and our awareness. We tend to be empathic, feeling all of the lower frequencies as pain and suffering. We find ourselves in the weeds of depression and anger. We want to fight off the source of the pain.
We don’t need to stay in the weeds. We can choose to fly up to our eagle’s perch and use our unique powers to see all that’s going on below us on earth. From our new vantage point, we can see what has been kicked up that has been hidden below the earth’s surface. We realize that what’s being revealed can only be dealt with because we have seen it for what it is.
The view from our eagle’s perch shows us that we lose our special powers of observation when we are pulled into the weeds. The result? We fail to see the lighthearted energies that feed us with higher frequencies.
It’s possible to achieve balance and be serious and lighthearted simultaneously. What stops us is old mindsets like these that have trained us to feel guilt:
- “If you’re not serious about it, there’s something wrong with you.”
- “If you laugh when so much awful stuff is going on, you have no heart.”
These statements are not true. From your eagle’s perch, you will see what is true. Lower frequency energies are being kicked up for a reason. If we get pulled into the weeds, we can’t even use our powers to bring in higher frequencies.
How do we attain what seems like an impossible balance? First of all, we can’t hide in the weeds. We have to fly back up to that eagle’s perch and ask these questions:
- What is the meaning of this?
- How can I be of assistance?
- How can we create a world of love, acceptance, and satisfaction?
You will find your answers there. Here are some things that I’ve learned.
As I see the chaos, the pain, the greed, the genocide, and all that is the worst side of humanity, I know that’s not who we are. We were birthed from LOVE. When we don’t feel that love, we have pushed aside our souls. And the reason we get caught in the world’s weeds is that we feel so deeply and profoundly.
I accept that as part of what it means to care. But, from my eagle’s perch, I see other things in my world. I see people who exhibit extraordinary courage. I see people who haven’t lost their compassion. I see a natural world that would show us the truth about the earth and feed our hearts and souls.
I watch my cat Checkers basking in the sun. He loves looking in the weeds for things to chase and relishes eating grass. I feel the soft breeze and the warm rays of the sun. On my walk, I enjoy the wildflowers. What a difference in perspective and purpose! The cat dives into the weeds and loves it—we are pulled into them and need to find our way out.
You might hear old mindsets say that you can’t enjoy nature, family, and special times and ignore what’s happening in this world. And I would say, “The only way I know to bring in the new (perhaps ancient) way of being in the world is to fully experience the precious times in total gratitude even while I’m aware that the world is in turmoil. Each time I experience genuine gratitude, my frequency is lighter, helping to bring a lighter frequency into the world.
We can be serious, and we can be lighthearted. And in the meantime, there are things that we can do to bring about a different world. We can ask, “How can I be part of the solution?” For me, it’s about sending light and colors and frequencies of love. And not just to those who are suffering, but also to those who are the perpetrators. We are love, and love is available to all. Some push love away. However, even if they don’t feel it now, perhaps there will be a time when they do accept that love. It is all around them and will always be, until they are ready to open up to it.
At Transformational Tools our mission is to help you focus on the frequencies of love, oneness, and the highest and best for yourself and others. At the same time, we learn to stay aware of what’s happening around us without getting pulled into the weeds.
Life is like that! There are lots of things going on every day. We can allow ourselves to be pulled under or choose to sit on our eagle’s perch.

Life Can Be Serious & Lighthearted
from an eagle’s perch

We are in a time when lower frequency energy is being kicked up into our faces and into our awareness. We tend to be empathic, feeling all of the lower frequencies as pain and suffering. Before we know it, we have been pulled into the weeds of depression, anger, and a desire to fight whatever caused this pain.
We don’t have to stay in the weeds. We can choose to fly up to our eagle’s perch and use our special powers to see all that’s going on below us on earth. From our new vantage point, we can see what has been kicked up that is now hidden below the earth’s surface. We realize that what’s being revealed can only be dealt with because we have seen it for what it is.
